Michael Flato is a Commercial Underwriter, based in Brick, New Jersey. He brings nearly 20 years of underwriting experience, having held roles at Crum and Forster, ProSight, Quaker Special Risk, and JGS Insurance. Michael’s background includes underwriting habitational accounts, package policies, workers’ compensation, and umbrella coverage, giving him a well‑rounded perspective across multiple lines of business.

Born in Maryland and raised in New Jersey, Michael attended Randolph High School before earning his degree from La Salle University in Philadelphia. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through lacrosse and mountain biking, and he will soon be inducted into his high school’s Athletic Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in lacrosse. A longtime shore resident, Michael spends many weekends at the beach near his home in Brick and enjoys traveling with his family to the Outer Banks of North Carolina during the summer. He is also an avid Baltimore Orioles and Washington Commanders fan.
